Great little baskets! I have two of these on the side of my stainless steel fridge. They’re great for tea bags, sugar packets, and medicine bottles, keeping them all handy but at the same time off the counter and out of direct sight. I will probably buy a couple more.
A 20cm long solenoid has 4000 turns of wire. Inside Magnetic picasso Beads this solenoid is also a second one, also 20cm long but with 2500 turns of wire. If a 2.5 A current flows in each solenoid on the same direction, what us the magnetic field inside the inner solenoid?

I bought this two years ago to hold hand towels in my tiny kitchen. I have it on the oven door. It works perfectly. It doesn’t slide around even with routine opening and closing the oven door, it hasn’t scratched or marked the door in two years, and it holds large hand towels within easy reach. It is exactly what I needed.
I was afraid this product would not be strong enough to hold our paper towels to the side of the refrigerator, but they do with no problem. We are very happy with this item and would recommend it to a friend.
The magnets on this are strong enough to hold probably any towel up. My fridge has a slight texture to it’s surface and this doesn’t slip. If you pull on the towel so that it pulls on the holder then it will move some, but it’s not a problem to dry your hands without yanking on the thing.
Although the picture shows two towels being held, one on a front rod and one on a back rod, really only the front rod is feasibly usable. The back rod only has about an inch of open space between it and the fridge, so it would be a hassle to try and get a towel back there, unless you wanted to lift the rod assembly (it’s hinged) to slip it in, which seems like more trouble than it’s worth.
I haven’t had any trouble with this scratching my fridge. It has left some very minor scuff marks after 2 years of use and moving it every now and then, so if you need to have everything looking flawlessly perfect then maybe this isn’t for you. Although, really it’s not like it has seriously marred my refrigerator, so if you can stand a little scuffing then this is an excellent product you should buy.
Oh, and if you’re thinking of buying the matching Magnetic Paper Towel Holder, DON’T. It isn’t as high quality as this towel holder. I wrote a review for that product too.
the magnetic towel bar is perfect for the refrigerator when you have no where else for it..it works perfectly.
The magnet is plenty strong which seems to be a shortcoming of some products. Design wise, it would benefit from having two holes with which to put screws through on each end instead of just one hole on each end. This would reduce vibration when removing knives.
I would definitely order this item again, or recommend it to a friend.
A couple of comments that might save you some grief:
1) I originally mounted it vertically, thinking I would save some wall space. The magnet wasn’t strong enough to keep some of my heavier knives in the horizontal position; they would rotate until they touched the next knife down. Not an attractive way to display your knives, and potentially hazardous. So, I had to reinstall it horizontally and repair the holes in my wall. Mounted horizontally (with the knives attached vertically), it works great for me. Depending on the kind of metal that your knives are made of, it may or may not work for you mounted vertically.
2) As others have mentioned, get some heftier wall anchors than what comes with it. The puny little mounting anchors that ship with it do not inspire trust, especially if you have some heavy knives.
Neither of these comments would keep me from giving it five stars, it’s good stuff. Just give careful consideration to where you’re going to mount it. If your knives are like mine, they’re heavy and sharp. If you have small children or frisky cats, put it somewhere that they’re not likely to get to it.
Make sure that you know how to attach the holder securely, or find someone that does. You’ll be happy.
Some magnetic knife holders aren’t strong enough and your knives droop, some are too strong and rip the knife out of your hands, but this one is just right. It also looks great and comes with mounting screws. You can’t go wrong with this product.
