pablo-picasso-cubism Evaluation on Mister picasso Head

I ordered this product not really knowing anything about how it worked. I was pleasantly surprised. It is super easy, allows for super healthy cooking, and you don’t go through a lot of olive oil as you may think. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a healthy alternative to those other sprays for cooking!

What can the cops do if you pull a hey mister?

I finally found the misters i purchased 4 years ago. I love how easy they are to work. they cool me down without getting drenched. they are a must have with a mist and a small fan, fantastic.

This was great, living in a very hot climate in the summer…it cooled us off while outside.

i love this product. this is my second one and it is perfect for laying in the hammock with a magazine and tea on a hot day.

One of the nozzles doesn’t work – sprays instead of misting. Spend a couple extra bucks and get a fan or patio system.

This misting system falls little short of what I thought it would be. It’s great if there is no wind or breeze. The mist is so little you either have to keep moving around to enjoy it or hope there is no wind.

I bought this Cuisipro Mister to replace my old mister. I am very satisfied with this oil mister, it has a nice spray stream, and is a very durable mister. I have noticed I don’t have to prime this mister as often as I did my old mister. I love the look of this mister. I would highly recommend this oil mister to any one who likes to cook with olive oil. Plus, it’s healthier to use than that chemical based pam. A little olive oil goes a long way.. You won’t be disappointed.

I puchased this product to use for vermouth. I looked at misters and ended up purchasing this and am glad that I did. I keep it in the fridge. So far so good.

I was hesitant to buy this on Amazon after seeing its 2 1/2 star rating based on 17 reviews but have come recently to suspect that the Amazon.com reviews are being manipulated by mom-and-pop sellers on Amazon or others with a financial incentive. Cuisipro is a name I trust and they are too big to spend their time monitoring and manipulating reviews, ratings, and feedback on Amazon. I definitely did not want an aluminum sprayer like Misto so I decided to try this stainless steel spray pump non-aerosol mister by Cuisipro and it works great! I wonder if some reviewers just didn’t read the material that came with the mister. Their was a little tag attached to the outside as well as a little manual rolled up inside the mister.

The booklet attached on the outside says:
multi-functional, non-aerosol mister
add flavor to ingredients
stainless steel
instructions included
hand wash only
25 year warranty

The instructions included inside the mister say:
Thank you for buying our spray pump. Cuisipro quality that endures, value that surprises, and innovations that challenge expectations.

Care instructions:
hand wash only
fill 1/2 full with hot tap water and add a drop of liquid detergent
pump 10 times and spray for 10 seconds
to rinse, repeat with fresh hot water
WARNING: do not store near excessive heat. not following instructions may case unit to malfunction

USES:
oil cookware for non-stick cooking
use flavored oils and/or vinegars for salads, vegetables, meats and fish
mix vinegar and water for cleaning
lubricants for hinges
water for misting plants
keep several pumps for multiple tasks
NOTE: only dried herbs should be stored in olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS:
fill container about halfway (5-7oz/148-207mL)
place screw cap on container and tighten securely
place pump tube and cap mechanism on container
pump up and down until you meet substantial resistance (approximately 15 pumps for 1/2 full container)
remove cap and hold vertically, pres valve to spray

HELPFUL SUGGESTIONS:
NO SPRAY
tighten screw cap
ensure screw cap is not cross-threaded
pump more air into the container
ensure that black rubber ring inside base of screw cap is in place
make sure bottle is no more than 1/2 full
SPRAY NOT FINE ENOUGH
pump more air into the container

I purchased Misto Gourmet Brushed Aluminum Olive Oil Sprayer way back when it first came out and was very happy with it although it does require some maintenance to keep it working correctly. I like it better than the aerosol alternatives or the two finger method but didn’t like the aluminum. I got on a using coconut oil kick and since that oil solidifies at room temp, you can’t use it in a mister so I put MISTO in storage. I have lately been using a variety of oils and wanted to give non-aerosol pump misters a try again and was delighted to see they now come in stainless steel. I feel the Cuisipro Stainless-Steel Spray Pump Non-Aerosol Mister is made much sturdier and attractive than Misto Gourmet Brushed Aluminum Olive Oil Sprayer. It feels and handles like it is made with higher quality materials with more care and attention to quality. I like the sleeker, more elegant, classier, more contemporary look as well.

Unfortunately the oil is housed in plastic so for health purposes, I am returning to Amazon.

I purchase this product about a week ago I kept buying Pam olive oil sprays and I thought
I would try this. Overall it works great now for those who think that it will hold its pressure after pumping I just want to say that it is not designed to do that. As with any cooking gadget this is not
Meant to replace a pressurized spray bottle, couple of tips (1) keep clean (2) don’t over fill only ½ oil is required (3) don’t expect this bottle to hold pressure like a jumbo hair spray bottle it works great for what it was made for .

The mister MAY work ok if I can get it to stay coupled to my hose. As others mentioned, the hose coupling is a cheap over-sized soft plastic piece of junk. I tried various ways of taping it together, but the thing still leaks like crazy. I spent a couple of hours already trying to keep the connection solid…this should have been the no-brainer part!!! Luckily, the nozzles weren’t cracked, or I would have sent it back. There is some dripping, maybe I can tighten things down a bit. As mentioned before, QC is non-existant.

Eubanks February 22, 2011 at 8:59 pm

After intermittant medium hose pressure for one week the connections came apart. Be prepared to find fasteners to keep the thing together.

Davenport February 23, 2011 at 9:06 am

As others have mentioned the cheap plastic hose attachment makes ALL of these systems useless

To bad…another poor product from China
