Sure wish they had invented this when I was a kid. User has to be coordinated, the flies seem to know what it is. Very cool when it zaps a fly, you hear an snap and the fly is stunned below, Then you have to finish off the fly. Great for mosquitos.
Can someone be a masterful ARTIST without knowing how to draw or illustrate? Who decides?
I know a guy who does these really wild paintings, and they are composed well (to my eyes), but unlike famous abstract artists like Picasso, this guy can not ALSO draw or paint reality or illistrate at ALL, but he seems to have this amazing abilty to swirl patterns, drawing images out of what to me seems like cloud gazing. Is it possible to Amazing abstract be respected as a painter/artist when you can’t draw? It sort of seems like his imagery is “found” from random shapes. The whole thing about fine art versus illustration gets to me to. Sometimes I see what is supposed to be a piece of fine art, that is nothing more than an illustration on canvas, but you don’t see cartoonists passing off every frame of their artwork as a piece of fine art, if they COULD do that, they would cut every frame out and trace it on a canvas.. Who says what is fine art? I think it’s all BS sometimes, because the composition is judged subjectively.I have a Van gogh on my wall of a bedroom scene called “room at Arles”, and I think it’s terrible! (yet i liek it still) I think he was a guy that could not illustrate either probably. He perspective is terrible in that painting, but his composition is good. SO who says what is what?

I bought this product originally for my daughters friend for christmas because she was playing with it in the store one day and was totally mesmerized by it. I ended up ordering two more (one for my son and one for my daughter) for christmas. Everyone loved it and had a ball playing with it.
We bought this product in Walt Disney World. My 9 year old son loves it. The only downside is that the string knots often. The good news is that the knots come out very easily. This is definitely a product we will buy more of to have on hand for birthday gifts. Boys and girls both can enjoy this! It is really a fun toy.
My husband and I are professional piano tuner-technicians, so we looked a long time for wind chimes which wouldn’t drive us crazy being badly tuned. These chimes are soothing, gentle sounding, and best of all, in tune!
No, you probable won’t hear the exact, in-order notes of “Amazing Grace”, but that’s because of the vagueries of the wind blowing the chimes against the wooden clapper in the middle. However, the notes of the first 4 measures ARE there. The effect is supposed to be subtle and subliminal, so please don’t get all upset when you compare the written hymn with the chime’s sound.
I purchased my chimes in February of 2009 and installed them when the weather warmed up in May. When the window’s open, the deep, sweet music is enjoyed by everyone. My daughter in law’s blue-heeler dog sits by the window with his head tilted to the side, listening, and quietly crooning along with the sounds he hears!
I’m in the market for another set, maybe even deeper, for the front porch.
This windchime has an amazing sound. It is just the right size. The other windchimes I looked at this one had the best price. The others were more than twice the price.
