this piece of art is breathtaking. i get TONS of compliments on it. there is zero gold in the actual art piece. the gold is just the reflection of light in the room or from the flash of a camera. i took a picture of it when i put it on my wall and the gold showed up on the picture. not sellers fault. but if u r looking for something dazzling and silver then this is the piece for you.
I would like to mosaic something spectacular.. an image for a wall hanging.. What should abstract Wall Ornaments i do?
I’ve done abstracts.. and beachy things.We live in a beach area so beachy things are good but they must be edgy and contemporary.. any ideas? Thanks

First the good, this wall peice is gorgeous, and really makes a statement, which is why I bought it. However a few things could have made this really spectacular. This item comes exactly as picutred, however there are peices of metal glued to the back to hang the flat panels with. These “hangers” are NOT even, so actually getting the look pictured takes a whole lotta skill! Also, then hangers are a bit flimsy, so be sure to mount this on a wall that will not get much traffic. All in all the peice itself is spectacular and really exactly what is described and picutred, but I got one with uneven hangers. It took me a few hours yesterday once I realized that the hangers did not match up. Otherwise, it was a quick delivery and well packaged so as not to be damaged upon arrival.
Piece arrived today and it is smaller than the pictures make it appear. They need something to show the scale of the item. Also it is pure aluminum in color, no gold at all, the picture must be reflecting something in the room it was taken in.
Still, it is nice, not worth the original price and just ok at the sale price.
The lines behind the tree figure in mine look like they were made in a factory. I also had a defective spot. It was not as pictured. Perhaps I should have returned it. I thought once I treated it with the clear enamel, as suggested, that the dark defect would disappear, but it did not. You may be lucky and get one as pictured… just poor workmanship on mine.
I bought this piece a while back and forgot to review it,I love it. It looks exactly as it does in the picture and for the price it is definitely worth it. I am looking into buying another piece by Ash Carl.
