What do you think of this design for a painting?
So I have the back half to a broken string bass and my orchestra instructor wants it painted to hang in the room with a music theme. I had this idea of drawing a set of headphones at one end of the bass and the word be cursive words dividing the bass into four parts. The cord would say “We all have different tastes in music, but we all feel it in our souls.” And in the four sections would be four genres of music players’ silhouettes; a jazz player Hill abstract painting playing a saxophone, an orchestra player with a violin, a country player with an acoustic guitar, and a techno/rock player with a keyboard or drums i havent decided.The only problem is my color backgrounds. I want each background to be different and colorful. When I think of jazz music i think of bright vivid colors especially Marti Gras and spikey lines. I was thinking of painting a marti gras mask in the background and making it sparkly.For country, a sunset scene with gentle hills and grassy plains.For classical a soft colors, well blended scene with a flowey designFor Rock/techno lots of bright vibrant colors with sharp lines and angled shapesso what do you think and if you have any ideas or comments id be happy to hear them. Also if you had some ideas of backgrounds instead of abstract colors and shapes for classical and techno thatd be greatKeep in mind im an ok artist but not fantastic so ideas without a lot of detail would be great especially since it will be seen from far away
